These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings and travel packages arranged or facilitated by Yes Tourism India via the website meghalayatourpackage.com . By booking any package, safari or service through our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.


1. Booking Procedure & Confirmation

A booking becomes valid only after payment of the required advance or full payment, as specified in the package quotation. Until payment is received, the booking remains provisional. Once the payment is cleared and a confirmation voucher/itinerary is issued, the contract between the guest (“you”) and Yes Tourism India becomes effective.

2. Prices, Payments & Validity

  • All package prices are based on prevailing rates of hotels, transports, permits, and other service providers.
  • Any increase in taxes, fuel prices, permit fees, or supplier pricing after booking must be borne by the guest.
  • Full payment must be completed before the commencement of the tour.
  • Until full payment is received, Yes Tourism India is not obligated to provide any services.

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • All cancellations must be submitted in writing (email/letter).
  • Refunds will follow the cancellation policy mentioned in your final itinerary or quotation.
  • Jeep Safari & Elephant Safari amount are non-refundable.
  • No refunds for unused services, “No-Show” cases, last-minute cancellations, or disruptions caused by force majeure.
  • Certain government fees (e-permits, entry passes, ferry tickets, safari charges, etc.) are strictly non-refundable once issued.

4. Itinerary, Changes & Substitutions

While we strive to maintain the itinerary as confirmed, circumstances such as weather conditions, roadblocks, operational issues, or any unavoidable situation may require changes. We reserve the right to:

  • Modify or amend the itinerary
  • Change hotels or transport to a similar category
  • Cancel or re-schedule any sightseeing or activity

No compensation or refund will be provided for changes arising due to reasons beyond our control.

5. Liability, Insurance & Guest Responsibility

Yes Tourism India acts as a facilitator coordinating with independent suppliers. We are not responsible for:

  • Accidents, injuries, delays, loss of belongings, natural calamities
  • Poor services from third-party hotels, transport operators, ferries, safaris, or activity providers
  • Sudden closure of routes, attractions, or government-controlled zones
  • Any cancellation of Safari / Boats / Cruise as a result of VIP / VVIP movement or instructions by Local / District / State Administration

Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all guests.

6. Behaviour & Conduct

Guests are expected to behave responsibly and respectfully. Any damage caused to property, vehicle, or hotel will be chargeable. Yes Tourism India reserves the right to remove a guest from the tour in case of misconduct without refund.

7. Force Majeure

Natural disasters, extreme weather, landslides, political unrest, strikes, road closures, pandemics, or government orders may cause trip delays or cancellations. Costs arising due to such situations must be borne by the traveller.

8. Complaints

Any complaints must be reported to our team immediately and formally submitted within 7 days of completing the tour.

9. Jurisdiction

All disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Coochbehar, West Bengal, India.


Special Terms — Safari & Forest Permit Bookings

Things to Note Before Booking Safari Online

  • Please do not make half payment; in such cases, the safari permit is not generated.
  • We cannot change the booking process — it is fully managed by forest officials.
  • Entry permits issued in your name cannot be transferred or cancelled.
  • Only registered vehicles and authorized elephants are allowed inside the park.
  • Safari is conducted only on the designated route assigned by forest officials — route changes are not permitted.
  • During peak season, safari seats are limited, so guests must book well in advance.
  • Your entry permit or the park may be closed without prior notice due to unavoidable circumstances. We cannot influence or override such decisions.
  • In case of changes in entry fees or permit charges, travellers must pay the difference at the time of entering the park.
  • Guests must report to the safari starting point 15 minutes before departure.
  • Pick-up and drop-off from hotels are not included by default — available only on request and at extra cost.

Information Required for Fast & Smooth Booking

  • Full name, age, gender of all travellers as per ID proof
  • Preferred date of travel and safari slot (Morning / Evening)
  • A copy of original ID (Aadhaar, Voter ID, Driving License, etc.)
  • Full safari booking amount in advance
  • E-permit charges are non-refundable once issued
  • Foreign travellers must provide complete passport details
  • Safari seats are issued on a first-come, first-serve basis
  • Travellers must carry the same original ID used during booking

By booking any service on meghalayatourpackage.com , you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all the above Terms & Conditions.


Safari Booking Cancellation Policy – meghalayatourpackage.com (Yes Tourism India)

Safari bookings are processed strictly as per the rules and guidelines of the Forest Department. Once a safari permit is applied or issued, no changes or cancellations can be made. Please read the policy carefully before making the payment.

1. No Cancellation Allowed After Booking

  • Safari permits, once applied or issued, are 100% non-refundable.
  • The Forest Department does not allow cancellation or transfer of permits under any circumstances.
  • No change of name, date, timing, or safari zone is permitted after booking.

2. Partial Payments Are Not Accepted

  • Safari bookings require full payment in advance.
  • Bookings made with half or incomplete payment are automatically cancelled and permits are not generated.
  • No refund is provided for partial payments made without confirming availability.

3. No Refund for Government/Forest Department Decisions

There will be no refund if the safari is cancelled or stopped due to:

  • Sudden park closure
  • Bad weather or safety issues
  • VIP movement
  • Wildlife restrictions
  • Road blockage
  • Any other official order by Forest Authorities

These decisions are not under our control, and refunds are not allowed by the department.

4. No Refund for Late Reporting or No-Show

  • Visitors must report 15 minutes before safari departure at the designated starting point.
  • Late arrival or failure to report will be treated as No-Show and the booking will be forfeited.
  • No refund or rescheduling is permitted.

5. ID Proof Requirement – No Exceptions

  • The ID used during online booking must be carried in original.
  • If the guest fails to provide the same ID, they will not be allowed to enter the park.
  • No refund is applicable in such cases.

6. Non-Refundable Charges

The following components are strictly non-refundable:

  • Forest entry permit fee
  • E-permit generation charges
  • Jeep/Elephant safari booking fee
  • Service charges
  • Convenience charges
  • Passport details verification fee (for foreign nationals)

Once the booking is processed, the entire amount becomes non-refundable.

7. Rescheduling Policy

  • As per forest regulations, rescheduling of safari is not allowed.
  • Date/time changes cannot be made once a booking is initiated or confirmed.

8. Force Majeure Conditions

No refund is applicable in case of:

  • Natural calamities
  • Landslides / Flood / Earthquake
  • Accidents / Road closure
  • Strike or political unrest
  • Vehicle failure or operational issues
  • Medical emergencies
  • Any unforeseen event beyond control

However, we will assist in all possible ways to help guests with alternative arrangements (subject to availability and extra cost).

Acceptance of Policy

By booking a safari through meghalayatourpackage.com , the guest acknowledges and accepts that all safari bookings are non-cancellable, non-transferable, and non-refundable as per Forest Department regulations.
